As we have already told you from unofficial sources, the wait for «Ash vs. Evil Dead» is finally over! Amazon Prime has now officially confirmed that they will be bringing the successful horror series by Starz and cult filmmaker Sam Raimi (Drag Me to Hell) to our latitudes very soon. All ten episodes of the first season will be available from September 1 in German dubbing and the original English version exclusively for Prime customers in Germany. But that's not all, because towards the end of the current year the streaming provider also wants to follow up with the second season of the Sam Raimi series, which will start in October, and finally catch up with the US counterpart. So if someone doesn't use alternative distribution options for any reason, they can stagger off the excellent first season full of splatter fun on Amazon Prime from September 1st.
In the series adaptation of «Dance of the Devil», Bruce Campbell returns in his role as Ashley J. «Ash» Williams, who once again struggles with demons. Ash is a warehouse worker, aging womanizer, and demon hunter—with a chainsaw instead of one hand. For the last 30 years he has shied away from taking responsibility, growing up and standing up to evil. However, when a demonic plague threatens to wipe out humanity, Ash is forced to confront his demons - literally. But fate doesn't seem to want to free the antihero from the evil clutches.
