The director of the French youth film classic "La Boum", Claude Pinoteau, is dead. The screenwriter, director and producer died on Friday at the age of 87 in the Parisian suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine, his agent confirmed to the French news agency AFP Saturday. Pinoteau had worked with many of the greats of French cinema, including Jean Cocteau, Claude Lelouch and Sophie Marceau. He is considered to be the discoverer of Marceau, to whom he gave the leading role in "La Boum - Die Fete" (1980).

Claude Pinoteau was born on May 25, 1925 as the son of director Lucien Pinoteau in Boulogne-Billancourt west of Paris. His career in the film business began as early as 1939, first as a prop and later as an assistant to Jean Cocteau, Henri Verneuil and Claude Lelouch. In 1972, he made his first full-length feature film, “I – The number one” (“Le Silencieux”), starring Lino Ventura. Pinoteau is also credited with discovering the actress Isabelle Adjani, who first starred in 1974's La Gifle. Claude Pinoteau became famous with “La Boum” – and not only Sophie Marceau owes her career to him. It was the breakthrough for Sophie Marceau, who played the lead role of 13-year-old Vic. In 1987 he shot "The Student" with her. The film “La Boum” moved an entire generation of teenagers in the 87s. Now the director has died at the age of XNUMX.

Upon hearing the news of his death, Marceau said Pinoteau was "perfect" as a director for the film "La Boum". "He had this youthfulness, this loveliness, this romance, but also this chastity," the actress said, visibly moved, on TV channel TF1. Claude Pinoteau is "a bit like the father of a whole generation that saw this film". France's head of state, François Hollande, praised the director as an "outstanding figure in French film". "Dravens Tales from the Crypt" has been enchanting for over 15 years with a tasteless mixture of humor, serious journalism - for current events and unbalanced reporting in the press politics - and zombies, garnished with lots of art, entertainment and punk rock. Draven has turned his hobby into a popular brand that cannot be classified.

My blog was never designed to spread news, let alone get political, but with current affairs I just can't help but capture information here that is otherwise censored on all other channels. I am aware that the design page may not seem "serious" to many in this regard, but I will not change this to please the "mainstream". Anyone who is open to non-state-compliant information sees the content and not the packaging. I've tried enough to provide people with information over the last 2 years, but quickly noticed that it never matters how it's "packaged", but what the other person's attitude towards it is. I don't want to put honey on anyone's mouth to meet expectations in any way, so I'll keep this design because hopefully at some point I'll be able to stop making these political statements, because it's not my goal to go on like this forever ;) I leave it up to everyone how they deal with it. However, you are welcome to simply copy and distribute the content, my blog has always been under the WTFPL license.

It's hard for me to describe what I'm actually doing here, DravensTales has become a culture blog, music blog, shock blog, tech blog, horror blog, fun blog, a blog about found items on the internet, internet bizarre, trash blog, art blog, water heater, zeitgeist blog over the years , Scrap blog and grab bag blog called. Everything that is right ... - and yet not. The main focus of the blog is contemporary art, in the broadest sense of the word.
