Today we let the normal, concerned German citizens have their say. Because “German” has nothing to do with appearance or skin color, but with respecting the country and its values. All over the world, only clear-right or clear-left are more and more permissible; anyone who dares to venture into political nuances is politely but firmly pushed through in one of the two directions. This is both cute and dangerous, when everyone knows that the truth usually lies in the middle. But middle is out right now. But something like that. The schoolyard society with its “Lälälä, there were refugees there in Cologne, Ätsch-Bätsch!” On the other hand, it's really popular right now. There are also people like that Nathan Dash Menga holding the flag in the middle.
Nathan is originally from the Congo, but lives with his family in Germany. And he likes to do it, as he makes clear in a video on Facebook and YouTube. He is reacting to the discussion that arose after New Year's Eve in Cologne. And he makes it clear that he likes being in Germany: “I would neither get help from the state if I was feeling shitty, nor would I have the opportunity to visit a hospital.” He asks the question as to what right some people have to take things that tarnished the reputation of all foreigners in Germany. Because he doesn't think anyone would shit on the carpet in their house. His unmistakable request: “Just pack your clothes and go home!”
