Is it possible to objectively discuss nuclear waste at all?
Industrialists and some politicians are reacting to the increasing fear of the consequences of global warming with the miracle cure atomic energy: a clean and controllable energy without harmful effects on humans and the environment, which even contributes to sustainable development. But is it really as clean as we are led to believe? The documentary sheds light on the dark side of nuclear energy, which also highlights its democratic deficit: nuclear waste. Furthermore, the problem of the increasing number of chemical plants in the urban conurbations comes up, and the pollution that results from them. It becomes clear that there is little transparency on this in politics.
